New Year, New Content Thievery, Part 2

Posted on by

Hello, fellow Americans. Have you ever heard of “Teletext”? Me neither. Think Atari graphics meets the ESPN gamecast, but twice as slow and cool.

Sadly, this technology is going the way of the dodo due to your love of Apple. No, not the guy sitting next to you. YOU. This is YOUR fault. And what will happen when this priceless technology leaves the Earth, when we must grapple with three dimension viewing of sports?

To examine this issue in depth, I suggest following a link sent to me from Bedorrarci, the executive editor at (my site’s nonprofit branch). Here’s the link.

  1. Oh, I’d forgot you folks never experienced the wonder of Teletext.
I entranced an American friend on a recent visit to London with my astounding recall of the numbers for pages. It was like strange bingo.

  2. You have another American friend? And you unabashedly flaunt in my face, on my site?

I don’t want to come off as needy or possessive, or get another TRO, so I’m going to do the only reasonable thing left – immediately liquidate my MSQL database and enter grief counseling.

In all seriousness, I would love to see a teletext recount of a game of pong, just for mindblowing purposes.
